Why unbeaten run talks are unnecessary

Manchester United have been unbeaten since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as the club’s interim coach but that should not be emphasised and lived upon according to Ander Herrera.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of the Red Devils team in December last year after former manager Jose Mourinho was sacked by the club on the basis of poor performance and inability to motivate the players.

Having gone unbeaten since then, there have been talks that the Red Devils will go unbeaten until the end of the 2018-18 season but Ander Herrera has spoken against it.

He noted that his side must get prepared for the Fulham game as it would be a big mistake to think further than the match because his side must handle every game as they come.

According to Ander Herrera, the team must not place the Champions League tie against PSG ahead because the only way to prove a point in the game is to defeat Fulham this weekend.

However, Ander Herrera stressed that it is impossible in the Premier League to go unbeaten because of the quality of the league and the competition from other small sides.

Meanwhile, United’s hope of qualifying to next season’s Champions League is now brighter as they sit fifth in the league table.
