Why I fell out with Paul Pogba, Jose Mourinho

Portuguese manager and former Man United boss Jose Mourinho has explained why he fell out with France international midfielder Paul Pogba in his last season at the Old Trafford before his sack.

Jose Mourinho was shown the way out in December last year after he was unable to deliver good results at the club which adds to his inability to have full control of the dressing room as a result of his rift with some of the players.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss was at loggerhead with the former Juventus player before his sack and this is the first time that he would be speaking about it since he left the club.

It would be recalled that they both had a public row where they spoke at each other before the player was stripped of the captaincy by the manager.

Jose Mourinho explained that he was only interested in protecting the interest of the club than a single individual which is the reason why he consistently clashed with Paul Pogba.

However, Jose Mourinho admitted that his sour relationship with some of the players contributed to why he could not deliver good results at the club.
