It has been reported that Arsenal manager Unai Emery has begun plans to secure the signature of Porto attacker Yacine Brahimi in the coming summer transfer window.
The Gunners are lacking in a number of positions but they failed to secure more additions in the winter transfer window as a result of lack of funds.
The North London outfit are understood to be faced with some financial issues which stopped them from having activities in the last winter window but they were ready to land some players on loan with an option of a buy in the summer window but it was not accepted by a majority of the teams.
However, Yacine Brahimi has been praised to be a good fit for the North London side having scored a total of 8 goals in 20 Primeira Liga games.
With his contract expected to run out at the end of the season, Yacine Brahimi could be on his way out of the club to find other experiences elsewhere and Arsenal are willing to hand him the opportunity to have a new life.
Yacine Brahimi is tipped to serve as a replacement for England international Danny Welbeck who is out to injury.
