Brazilian striker not top priority for Unai Emery – Report

It has been reported that Brazilian striker Wesley Moraes is being wanted by North London boss Unai Emery but he is not top on the list of wishes for the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

Reports allege that the Spanish manager is more interested in having a good fit for his left full-back because of the scarcity of options in the department.

Spanish defender Nacho Monreal has been battling with an injury in addition to his wish to leave the Emirates Stadium which makes the manager desperate for a good replacement for him.

However, there is still a need for a forward with England international Danny Welbeck already injured and expected to be out of action for a number of months.

It is also reported that the Gunners management do not trust his ability to deliver at the club again and could be allowed to leave for free at the end of the season.

Therefore, Emery is looking at the Brazilian international, Wesley Moraes as the best fit for the position.

Wesley Moraes has been with Belgian outfit Club Brugge for two years and has scored a total of 31 goals in his 100 appearances for the club which adds to the 10 goals he has scored so far this season.
