Douglas Costa

Italian Serie A champions Juventus winger Douglas Costa is latest to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium after the sack of manager Jose Mourinho few days back.

The Red Devils now have a new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who took over from the Portuguese manager and he has been saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the United team return to winning ways.

Reports have it that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be handed big support with funds ahead of the winter transfer window so as to add more strength to his team knowing that they stand a risk to miss out of the Champions League next season.

Douglas Costa has struggled to establish himself in the Juventus team after his permanent switch from German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich during the last summer.

The British tabloid therefore reports that funds have been made available for the Red Devils which makes them fit to add more players to their team with Douglas Costa being a major target.

There is no doubt that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be backed by the United boss knowing that he has a perfect relationship with the club as a former player who had a memorable spell at the Old Trafford.
