Nathan Ake

There are indications that Manchester United will no longer succeed in their pursuit of Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake who seems to be interesting other Premier League club.

The 23-year-old is reported to be destined for a return to Chelsea having left the Stamford Bridge for the Vitality Stadium in 2017.

United and Tottenham were reported to be the leaders in the race for the player according to Daily Telegraph before Chelsea surfaced in what seem like an attempt to claim what belongs to them.

Chelsea have an agreement to resign the Netherlands international for a fee in the region of £40 million.

Ake has caught the attention of Premier League clubs with his performance for Bournemouth so far this season and they are all coming for him.

It is unlikely if he would be allowed to leave the Vitality Stadium for either of the suitors in the coming January transfer window because of his importance to the club but the Blues will have the capacity to lure him away.

Ake joined the Stamford Bridge at the age of 16 in 2011 making just 7 league appearances for the club in seven years at the club.

With his current form and impression, Ake is not expected to remain with Bournemouth at the end of the season.
