A number of records have been set in the Manchester derby game after United were defeated 2-0 by City in the English Premier League clash on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils have failed to win their last few games and that has been a concern for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the defense pointed to as the major problem in the team.

Man City have now returned back to the top in the English Premier League table with a point ahead of Liverpool and they now both have three games to play until the end of the season.

However, Man United have got negative records after the defeat as they have had seven defeats in their last nine games to remain in sixth place in the league table while their bid for a top-four is now in doubt.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has his touch of history against Man United as he is now the first manager to record three consecutive wins away in the Premier League at the Old Trafford.

The record has it that only former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Gerard Houllier join Guardiola as managers to win three total away matches at the Old Trafford.

More so, the Premier League defending champions have now won seven league games against United at the Old Trafford.
