According to British media reports, North London giants Arsenal are allegedly keen on signing Barcelona star Rafinha this summer transfer window.

The Premier League giants have been linked with a swoop for the Brazil international in the past transfer windows and it looks like they are ready to revive their chase in the coming weeks or months.

The midfielder spent the second stanza of last term on loan at Serie A side Inter Milan and although the Italian giants are apparently interested in signing him permanently, interests from the Premier League has built recently.

East London side West Ham United have been strongly linked with a move and as per Italian media reports, the Gunners have also joined the transfer race for the signature of the South American.

Newly appointed Arsenal boss Unai Emery is keen to strengthen his squad in midfield and although the north London giants have been more constantly linked with defensive minded players, the Barcelona star appears to be a transfer target.

The Gunners and the Hammers are suggested to be ready to meet the valuation of the la Liga star, with his Barcelona future now looking uncertain.
