Wales international Aaron Ramsey is not the only midfielder who is leaving the North London outfit at the end of the season as Gedion Zelalem is first to leave earlier this month.
Just like Aaron Ramsey, Gedion Zelalem left the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer to join Sporting Kansas City at the United States as he could not break into the first team and could no longer wait.
Gedion Zelalem was tipped to break into the first team and step into the shoes of former player Cesc Fabregas but he failed to live up to expectation and had to bid goodbye for a return to the United States after six years at the club.
The star player said he has been waiting for an opportunity to play in the first team and he is happy it has been achieved at the United States, stressing that he worked hard to deserve that.
Gedion Zelalem recalled former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger giving him the advice to get stronger so he can be able to compete in the Premier League but sadly, that did not happen, citing on a light mode, he has come from Ethiopian parents and they were not strong physically as well.
