Emerging reports indicate that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho would be asked to leave the club this week. To both the fans and the management, it was unacceptable for the Red Devils to suffer an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday and a decision has to be made, it was revealed. A Daily Mail report revealed that the United staff and squad could not wait to get home but began talks of the Portuguese manager on the train from London. Manchester United had suffered another Premier League defeat and Jose Mourinho wants us to understand his frustration. All is obviously not well at United and it reflecting on their performances this season. The 3-1 loss to West Ham means the Old Trafford side have lost three games this season with a draw, in addition to the exit from the Carabao Cup last week. A new report surfaced online about Chelsea loaning out their 25-year-old striker, Alvaro Morata. The Blues had signed the Spain International to take over from his fellow countryman, Diego Costa but Morata has so far struggled to perform at Chelsea. Arsenal game confirmed to be used as test for VAR, implementation date revealed
It is now confirmed that Arsenal is one of the six teams whose games will be used to test the efficiency of the Video Assistant Referee, VAR. Arsenal’s League Cup encounter against Brentford has been mentioned to be used by the English officials for the trial of the system. Other games that would be used as major test include Manchester United vs Derby and Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Leicester City on Tuesday 25th, as West Ham vs Macclesfield Town and Liverpool vs Chelsea on Wednesday 26th. The game between Everton and Southampton will also have the VAR officiating despite being postponed to October 2nd due to a fixture clash.
