Anthony Martial will not be leaving Manchester United this summer, according to his cousin Jemael.
The 21-year-old has been tipped to leave the Old Trafford this summer with reports of a swap deal to Inter Milan in a move that will see Ivan Perisic move the opposite direction.
Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have submitted a bid for the winger that was swiftly turned down by United who are keen on holding onto the player despite his reduced role last season.
United boss, Jose Mourinho has come out to insist that Martianl will remain at the Old Trafford despite offers from clubs since last January transfer window.
Martial’s cousin has now come to reveal that the forward will not be leaving the Old Trafford this summer, he wrote on his social media: “For Manchester United, Anthony leaving is not an option, even on loan. They rely on him.”
However, Jemael has since then deleted the tweet from his social media account; but the news might have sent shock waves in the transfer market and could prompt interested parties to stop the chase of the forward.
Manchester United are understood to be in pursuit of a left winger before the end of the transfer window, with reports of that Mourinho wants to bring in reinforcements to better their chances next season.
