Former Chelsea midfielder, Frank Lampard has hinted on Jose Mourinho’s state of mind in the controversies that surround the club.
United are no longer the club they used to be and are no more feared having lost 3-1 in their last game against West Ham. They were also embarrassed before the Old Trafford fans when they were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Derby County.
The United fans are currently furious and are not happy with what is going on at the club but their feelings might not be Mourinho’s concern if the claim made by Lampard is anything to go by.
The Chelsea legend had unwittingly stated that his former boss does not give a damn to the criticisms and the calls for his sack, adding that he will go about with his job unconcerned.
Lampard says he feels for Mourinho at this trying time but stressed that it is a phase every other manager must pass through at one stage or the other.
He rated Mourinho as a good manager who has the ability to deliver in the midst of the entire crisis.
Lampard described the Portuguese manager as a “big boy” who will overcome all of his critics.
