Why Sarri dumps Conte’s unpopular training methods at Stamford Bridge
Prior to Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at the club this summer following Antonio Conte’s departure, there was a general feeling of dissatisfaction from some players who were unhappy with Conte and his management style. Some players even sought to leave Stamford Bridge at the height of their displeasure.
Maintaining the peace at the Bridge might not sound so easy but, new man Sarri has found a way to win the hearts of a vast majority of players and fans alike.

Chelsea star player confirms formation change under Maurizio Sarri, fans will love this
It has been revealed that the former Napoli coach has reportedly changed several methods employed under the former coach. From allowing players to stay at home before matches at Stamford Bridge to relaxing strict diet rules to moving some training sessions in the afternoon, Sarri seems to be in favour of giving the players some freedom to enjoy some time with their families while working them hard when the need arises.
Conte’s training methods were quite unpopular with some of the players and in some quarters Chelsea’s injury woes last season was linked to the former manager’s hard and arduous training regime.
Alvaro Morata who was also critical of Antonio Conte’s methods seems to have been given a new lease of life following the arrival of new manager Sarri.
The Spanish attacker has promised to give his best to the London club and also commended the style of play adopted by the new Manager.
He said he hopes to score between 15-20 goals this season to help the club land a big trophy.
With two wins out of two, the blues fans will hope the team maintains their fairly impressive form going into another round of games this weekend.
