Why Man United identify Raphael Varane as dream signing
Most of the top English Premier League sides have been making efforts towards the coming summer window and Manchester United are not left out of it.
This is after latest report claims that the Red Devils have identified Real Madrid and France international defender Raphael Varane as their dream signing ahead of the summer window.
It is claimed that the Red Devils will make an attempt to snap him up by submitting a bid for him in coming months.
Recall that Raphael Varane is a long-term target of Man United with former managers Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho making efforts to have him but they all failed in their attempts.
According to a report by the Evening Standard’s James Robson, Raphael Varane is a dream signing and is now top of the list ahead of other targets.
It is claimed that United will have the sum of £100 million budget in the summer window and Raphael Varane is also part of the plan.
However, it was expected that the Red Devils will secure the signature of a defender in the last winter window after being linked with a number of targets but that did not happen with suggestions that they have a big need of it.
