According to reports, The Italian champions Juventus are believed to be keen on retaining the defender’s services but the Italy international who is a top defensive target for Maurizio Sarri during the summer transfer window will have to seek to request to leave the club before a deal can take place as Juventus has opted to refuse offers for their defender.

New reports, however, suggest that Chelsea remain interested in a deal for the Juventus star, but Massimiliano Allegri’s side do not want to sanction the sale.

Daniele Rugani is one of the world’s most wanted central defenders and a host of clubs across Europe have been linked with signing him, including Chelsea, Roma and AC Milan.

The news making the round now claim only a mouth-watering offer would be required from potential suitors to tempt the Italian champions into allowing the centre-back to depart midway through the domestic campaign.

The player has made only two starts in Serie A this season and could be keen to secure regular first-team game-time elsewhere.
