Arsenal target could leave Club for £27m this summer

According to reports, Brazilian winger Lucas Moura could leave Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain after the signing of Neymar Jr, with London club Arsenal named as a potential destination.

Paris Saint-Germain recently completed the £198m signing of Neymar Jr from Barcelona, and inevitably there’s now talk of which member of the squad could leave to accommodate the most expensive player in football history. This could be of interest to North London giants Arsenal, who are eyeing the signature of a winger this summer.

UOL Esporte reported that Brazilian international Lucas Moura has been told by his management team to leave the Ligue 1 runner-up before the summer transfer window closes. The report even links him with the Gunners, claiming Arsenal have already had an offer rejected.

The Parisians could sell the Brazilian for £27m, which seems like a decent price in the current transfer market. Almost too good. PSG signed the Brazilian for £40m from Brazil club Sao Paulo in 2012 and he’s gone on to play 212 matches for the French giants.

At the age of 24, his best years are undoubtedly still ahead of him. You would imagine that the French giants would want to make profit on his sale if they’re going to cash in on him. Apparently, the Gunners aren’t the only interested club, claim the Daily Star, indicating that teams from Italian Serie A are also monitoring his situations.
