Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has given his go-ahead to Juventus’ proposed bid for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah according to reports coming out of the English media.
The Daily Mirror revealed that Juventus have sounded out senior players about the Salah bid ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Sky News Arabia had earlier revealed that Juventus are plotting a big transfer for Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah in a deal that could be worth at least £175m.
Juventus are also said to be open to a player-plus-cash deal involving forward Paulo Dybala who’s becoming disillusioned with life at the club mainly due to his reduced role with the Italian champions.
The Argentine player has been relegated to an inferior role at Juventus following the club-record signing of Ronaldo last summer.
He has scored 10 goals in all competitions with just two coming in the Italian Serie A.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be tempted by Juventus into selling their best player.
Salah has become an important player for the Reds since his $44m transfer from AS Roma last summer.
He was instrumental to the Reds’ run to the Champions League final last season before they were beaten 3-1 by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
