Man United will have their last opportunity to remain in the Champions League this season and also to forge ahead to the Semi-finals when they clash with Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona later on Tuesday night.

The first leg of the quarter-finals which was played at the Old Trafford ended in a 1-0 score, in favour of the Spanish side and they are set to play the second leg at their home with a major advantage of an away goal.

However, Man United legend Rio Ferdinand has predicted that his former team will emerge victorious at the end of the day as he expressed confidence that the Barcelona team can be stopped.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have got a record of upset this season, having done that against Juventus and Paris Saint Germain earlier in the competition and there are suggestions that there could be a repeat of that in the game against Barcelona.

According to him, all his former side need to do is to stop Argentina international Lionel Messi and the Barcelona team would be weakened.

Lionel Messi has been viewed as the major threat ahead of the game with his fine form for Barcelona but he failed to score in the first leg.
