Man United’s faith in Bruno Fernandes paying off

English Premier League outfit Man United have expressed confidence in landing Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes despite the many interests in his service from other top European clubs.

North London outfit Tottenham were believed to be the major contender for the signature of the goal scoring midfielder but it is now reported that they have ruled out a move for the midfielder.

This was made known in a report by Daily Mail which claims that Tottenham will no longer move in for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder because they do not have interest in him.

However, it is claimed according to the publication that Sporting Lisbon are desperate to cash in on the star midfielder and have contacted a number of Premier League clubs with the sum of £50 million being demanded.

Man City were also linked with Bruno Fernandes alongside Liverpool and Leicester City but they have all been ruled out of the race for the star player.

It is now left for the Red Devils to submit an offer for the star player but Sporting Lisbon will not accept anything less than the £50 million they requested so that they can sanction other transfer deals.
