According to new reports circulating in the media, premier league giants Liverpool are ready to sign Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen for £53 million.
The German international signed a new contract with Leverkusen few months ago, but it was made known that the German club only took the step to simply increase his release clause.
Now valued at around €60M, Julian has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, and the management are not discouraged from splashing huge cash to bring him down to Anfield.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on taking advantage of the summer transfer window to sign a new winger that can reinforce his attack department at Merseyside.
The duo of Xherdan Shaqiri (Stoke City) and Moses Simon (Gents) have also been linked with the Anfield club in recent times, but Calcio Insider are insisting Julian is the man Liverpool will make a move for this summer transfer window.
Brandt was part of the German party that were humiliated at the 2018 World Cup in Russia – although he was used as a late sub in all three of their group fixtures.
The 22-year-old is a superb and talented player who has all it takes to add value to whichever club he will play for. He will definitely add more power to Jurgen Klopp’s attack should he make the move.
