According to a report by British publication Daily Star, Spanish La Liga Champions Real Madrid have placed a price tag of £85million for Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham to sign Wales international forward Gareth Bale from the Spanish club.
Gareth Bale has sustained many injuries in time past years and Spain international midfielder Isco and attacker Marco Asensio are challenging the former tottenham star’s starting spot in the Real side and they are reportedly ready to cash in on him, but only for the transfer fee mentioned.
Gareth Bale’s playing career has come under severe scrutiny in recent windows and connections back to the English Premier League, where he spent six seasons with North London club Tottenham Hotspur before signing for La Liga giant Real Madrid for a then world transfer record fee of about £85.3m
The Wales international forward played 146 matches in the English Premier League, netting 46 goals and providing 31 assists.
Premier League Champions Chelsea will face tough competition from City rivals and Gareth Bale’s former team Tottenham Hotspurs and their old manager, Jose Mourinho’s, team in Manchester United for Gareth Bale’s services. Manchester United have been strongly linked with the Welshman even before he signed for Real Madrid.
