Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confessed that his experience in the manager’s job at Real Madrid made him a better person and a better manager.

The Portuguese tactician told media outlet Deportes Cuatro about his time at Real Madrid as continued to be linked to his former job.

Real Madrid have been dumped out of three competitions in the space of six days and that has increased the spotlight on Los Merengues manager Santiago Solari with reports claiming that the former club player will be sacked between now and the end of the season.

Santiago Solari became the Real Madrid’s manager in October after the Argentine made the step up from the club’s youth team (Real Madrid Castilla).

Jose Mourinho was the Real Madrid manager for three years between 2010 and 2013.

While he was at Real Madrid, he won the 2011/12 Spanish La Liga title as well as both the Spanish Super Cup and Spanish Copa Del Rey.

He also had clashes with some of his players, most notably club legend and shot-stopper Iker Casillas.

Ex-Spanish national team goalkeeper Iker Casillas plays for Portuguese champions FC Porto at the moment.

Mourinho’s last managerial job was at Manchester United.

He was sacked in December by the Red Devils hierarchy after a disastrous start to the season.
