Former Gunners striker pleads with “Smart” over one decision

Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has hailed Unai Emery for his handling of the team and most importantly, his decision not to play his two strikers- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette together, stressing that it is a smart decision.

Both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette have scored 19 and 14 goals for the North London outfit across all competitions to lead the scoring charts for the team but the Arsenal legend said there is now a need for the Spanish boss to consider playing both players until the end of the season.

While admitting that the former PSG manager may not be comfortable with the decision, the former Arsenal striker noted that both can start with one of them playing from a wide position so that the opponents can be troubled and the chances of winning a game would be high at this critical time of the season.

Kevin Campbell, therefore, added that Unai Emery might not necessarily make use of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette at the same time but he could consider Eddie Nketah who is also good and smart in his game despite not having the needed experience.

However, there are suggestions that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will start for the Gunners in their Thursday Europa League game against Rennes with Lacazette suspended.
