Paris Saint Germain star player Javier Pastore has been heavily linked with a move away from the Paris club in recent times.
The Argentine player is expected to leave PSG before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window, and he recently made it known that his desire is to move to Italy whenever he leaves France.
Despite his challenges at Unai Emery’s side, the South American star has been linked with a handful of top clubs across Europe including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
A few days back, it was speculated that the two English heavyweights have submitted different offers to get his signature, but he turned down the offers.
Inter Milan are understood to be keeping tabs on Javier at PSG and the player has made it known he is interested in joining an Italian club when he leaves Paris.
Speaking recently about his situation under manager Unai Emery, the Argentina international admitted he is happy at PSG, but with the World Cup in view, he must move to a club he can get regular playing time.
According to Pastore, the reason he desires a move back to the Serie A is that he ‘knows’ the league ‘well’.
At Anfield, manager Jurgen Klopp is still on the lookout for a replacement for Philippe Coutinho who was sold to Barcelona some days back.
