Wolverhampton Wanderers — whom i call ‘giant killers’ because of their wonderful run of results against top-six clubs — are reportedly tracking Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham due to his wonderful goalscoring feat for Aston Villa.

The 21-year-old striker wasn’t rated by Maurizio Sarri before the start of the season and he was loaned to championship side Aston Villa during the summer window.

The England international is in rich form in front of goal and he is currently leading Villa’s course for a return to the country’s top flight league by the end of the season.

His two goals against QPR on Tuesday was his 15th and 16th goal of the season and he is definitely not going to stop scoring.

His current goalscoring prowess has caught the Wanderers’ attention and they’ve reportedly offered an £18m bid to the Blues for his signature.

According to the Sun, the League newcomers are more than convinced the youngster will add more firepower to their attack should he eventually join them later in the month.

Meanwhile, Sarri has denied claims that he’s planning on recalling Abraham from his loan spell at the Villa Park Stadium.

Despite admitting there is a need to find a solution to his team’s inability to score goals, the former Napoli manager ruled out every possibility to recall neither Abraham nor Valencia’s Michy Batshuayi.

The Blues played a goalless draw against Southampton at Stamford Bridge last night. They still remain at fourth position but they are now three points above Arsenal who thrashed Fulham 4-1 on new year’s day
