Deal Close: Star Set To Become Arsenal’s First Signing Come Summer

Considering Arsenal’s unpleasant outing this season that could make them miss next season’s Champions League, it is obvious the North London club are going to bring in new legs at the end of this season.

Right now according to new reports, the Emirate club are putting the finishing touches to sign Schalke star defender Sead Kolasinac. It was claimed that the leftback has already underpass medical tests with the club and the deal is all but complete.

The Bosnian star has been touted to be the club’s first-choice left-back next term and that the deal is now reportedly 95% done.

Kolasinac’s current contract at the German club is set to expire at the end of this season and he will become a free agent after June. Therefore, various top clubs including Manchester City and AC Milan have reportedly offered deals to him ahead of the summer transfer window.

He missed Schalke’s last five matches due to injury, and has made 33 appearances in all competitions for the club this season, scoring three times and providing nine assists.

Kolasinac has proved that he will be useful to whosoever team he is coming to as he is a versatile talent who can play further forward in a left-flank attacking position.

The Bosnia and Herzegovinia international is also very useful for his national side, and has accumulated 23 caps for his country.
