Former Arsenal boss has been again linked with a move to German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich ahead of the winter transfer window after the club legend Emmanuel Petit made such claim.

The French boss parted ways with the north London side at the end of last season after his 22-year reign in charge and has since been without a job as Arsenal boss.

Wenger has since been painting and drawing which to him is a way of going out of football and having a new life but that has not been easy to do after he claimed to be missing the game.

However, it was earlier reported that the German Bundesliga side are interested in the former Arsenal boss with a view to returning him back to management.

It was therefore revealed that Wenger is uninterested in the management of the game as a coach but will prefer to be at the board of the club.

The latest report from Wenger’s friend and World Cup legend Petit hints that a new development has taken place with Wenger now expected to return back to the field as Munich’s family.

Petit confessed to have had a discussion with Wenger some weeks back in Dubai and he is opened to a return to management.
