Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskaer has won the Premier League manager of the month after an impressive result from his side.

This is the first time a Red Devils manager will be winning the award since legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson last won it in October 2012 when they last won the Premier League the last year of his stay at the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskaer took over the role as United manager after the sack of manager Jose Mourinho and he has not lost any game since then, up till date.

With the three wins in four games, Ole Gunnar Solskaer was able to move the club from the 7th position to the fifth position in the Premier League table to have them stand the chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

In his reaction after he was announced on Friday, Ole Gunnar Solskaer admitted that it has been a great achievement for him but noted that the team should be given the credit for it because they did the job on the pitch.

Ole Gunnar Solskaer stated that he will not be proud at the achievements of the past but will rather look forward to having more done rather than dwell on the past.
