The Super Eagles of Nigeria yesterday, led the team to victory after a 2-1 win over Zambia. This was the group stage qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Nigeria’s goals came in the first half through two of their rising stars, while veteran Collins Mbesuma scored Zambia’s goal.
Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi put the Super Eagles ahead in the 32nd minute, while Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho added to the scoreline 10 minutes later.
Zambia scored in the 71st minute and was hoping for an equalizer before the final whistle. However, the Super Eagles was able to hold on, making them ahead in their group-Group B. Other member of the group include Algeria and Cameroon.
