It was reported that both Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in signing Juventus defender Alex Sandro.
Both Manchester teams need him quite well. Since City’s left-backs Aleksandar Kolarov and Gael Clichy are both over the age of 30, City coach Pep Guardiola desires freshening up his full-back options.
For United on the other hand, though coach Jose Mourinho has tried different players at left-back, it is still obvious that he isn’t dotting on Luke Shaw.Alex Sandro presently has six international caps for his country Brazil, and he turns 26 in January.
Though he is agreed to be just reaching his peak years, the fact remains that he isn’t like a 20-year old with no experience – but being a young man at 26, he has lots of experiences in his left-back position.
Signed to Juventus from Porto in 2015 for £22m, he has made 22 appearances in all competitions for his Italian club so far this season, and played a vital part in his team topping the Serie A table.
As a Brazilian full-back, like Real Madrid’s Marcelo, he is confident enough to move forward occasionally to support the attack, and has therefore provided two assists so far.
According to WhoScored.com, Sandro is a skilful dribbler that only two players in his team- Dybala and Higuain, have completed more successful dribbles than him.
He is known for his powerful running and got deadly superb skills on the pitch.
We hope he won’t widen the hole between the two Manchester clubs.
