Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is in a race against time to sign some new players and add to his Chelsea team this winter transfer window but Spain international striker Alvaro Morata is doing his bit as an honorary Chelsea recruiter.
As per Diario Gol, the summer signing has been discussing with his ex-Real Madrid mate Marco Asensio about the possibility of coming to West London with the Italian tactician looking to bring in fresh faces.
Spain international attacker Asensio is one of the hottest young prospects in Europe but has just made two Spanish La Liga starts since October last year as he’s fallen out of favour with French tactician Zinedine Zidane at the Santiago Bernabeu and it’s believed that the attacking midfielder is unhappy with his limited playing time.
The 22-year-old Real Madrid star can play across the front line and could be the best foil for Alvaro Morata up front, which could not be more on time with the forward scoring only three goals in his last 11 matches.
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is also hot desperately trailing Roma duo defender Emerson Palmieri and striker Edin Dzeko as a transfer deal to sign both players before next week’s deadline day likely go to the wire.
