Two ex-Chelsea players have been named in the Team of the Week for the latest set of games in the Premier League.

Five league games were played for Matchweek 31 due to FA Cup commitments on the part of Premier League clubs but that has not stopped popular media outlet Goal from compiling the list of players for the Team of the Week.

Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake and West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice were named on the list.

Ake and Rice were previously on the books at Chelsea.

Nathan Ake had a great game for Bournemouth in their 2-2 home draw against Newcastle United at the weekend.

He made two blocks and had four clearances against the Magpies.

Nathan Ake initially joined Bournemouth from Chelsea on loan at the start of the 2016/17 season before the Cherries paid £20m to secure his transfer from the West London giants permanently in the summer of 2017.

Declan Rice was instrumental to the Hammers’ 4-3 comeback win over bottom team Huddersfield Town.

West Ham United came from two goals down to win the game in the second half.

Rice was a Chelsea player until he was released at the age of 14.

Other players on the list include Jordan Pickford and Seamus Coleman (Everton), Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane (Liverpool), Joshua King (Bournemouth), Karlan Grant and Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield Town), Wes Morgan and James Maddison (Leicester City),
