There are indications that former Manchester United manager will now return back to management after some months of stay without a job.
The Portuguese boss was sacked last year December by the Red Devils management for failing to produce good results and most importantly failing to have full charge of the dressing room.
However, it is understood that he could be back anytime soon as he is set to meet with his former employers Inter Milan to hold talks with the club’s director Beppe Marotta.
This means that he is being wanted by the Italian Serie A side again and he might have a second spell at the San Siro with a report according to Italian media outlet TeleLombardia claiming that the 56-year-old still has a mutual affection with the club.
It is understood that current Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti is currently under pressure and could lose his job as he is struggling as well to win games as he is currently 20 points behind league leaders Juventus.
It would be recalled that in 2010, Jose Mourinho won the Champions League, the Serie A and Coppa Italia with Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have since moved in from struggling to winning games under new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
