According to reports, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told the management to sign a player that can help turn the title race back in his favour.

Manchester United are still eight points behind league leaders Man City ahead of the clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola’s side are yet to lose a single game this season so far and they simply seem unstoppable.

And the Sun made it known that Jose believes he can only overhaul the citizens if he can sign a new player that can bring more creativity to his side.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has got a handful of talented attackers in the team who have been creating lots of chances and have been scoring lots of goals to contribute to the club’s impressive form.

On the other hand, it is understood that Man United boss Jose Mourinho feels his team’s lack of creativity could hinder him from winning the premier league title this season, and he has instructed the club’s scouts to find a superb player who can unlock any defense whatsoever.

It was added that the Portuguese tactician wants the player to be landed during the January transfer window so his side can overtake Manchester City on the premier league table.

The news will be an unpleasant one for Armenian playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Though he started the term impressively – providing five assists in his first three matches, he has struggled for form recently and has even lost his place in Mourinho’s first-team.
