In recent times, Spanish giants Real Madrid have been interested in getting Manchester United classic goalkeeper David de Gea. And right now, reports have it that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has stated an offer that could make De Gea transfer to Madrid’s possible if agreed upon.
It was reported that the Portuguese boss would demand one of either Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Raphael Varane or Casemiro in return to giving out De Gea.
Back in August 2015, the Spanish goalie could have completed a move to Real Madrid, but the deal was hindered during the dying seconds of the transfer window.
According to reports, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez offered Isco and James Rodriguez as part of a swap deal for the 26-year-old, but the former Inter Milan boss ignored the proposal.
But Don Balon reported that the current Man United manager will only consider letting his goalkeeper leave if Madrid send either Benzema, Kroos, Modric, Casemiro or Varane to him at Old Trafford.
Earlier this season De Gea’s release clause was revealed to be 60 million Euros (which is 5.1 million pounds) and it remains unclear as to how this latest development figures in the context of De Gea’s release clause. We all know that standard release clauses state that once the demanded amount is offered, then the deal is essentially done.Let’s see how everything goes.
