There are indications that Manchester United could settle for interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for a permanent role ahead of next season.

The Red Devils have been in search of a new manager since the sack of Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho as they hope to have a permanent and world class manager in the summer.

United only handed a temporal role to the former Red Devils forward with the view that he steps down at the end of the season but he has been fantastic and have returned smiles to the faces of the United fans and the players.

Since his emergence, the Red Devils have not lost any game and most importantly, they have been able to pull six wins in six of the games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, a number of managers including Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte have been linked with the job.

But with the latest report which claims that both players and management staff are keen to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer land the job on a permanent role having enjoyed his reign in charge.

The decision will now be left to the Red Devils management to make with suggestions that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not mind giving the job.
