Chelsea summer signing Alvaro Morata admits he is finding it easy to play with Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard at his new club.
Morata made the move to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid this summer and has shown at his new club since leaving Zinedine Zidane’s side.
The Spain international has scored seven goals in his first eight games for the premier league champions so far, and he is expected to be a major contender for the Golden Boot award at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old is yet to spend lots of time on the pitch with club superstar Eden Hazard due to an injury the Belgian sustained earlier in the summer.
Hazard missed the start of the new season and is only just working his way back into Antonio Conte’s first team again.
He was however given more time to play during Chelsea’s recent Champions League game against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, and Morata has heaped praise on the quality of the player.
Speaking recently about Eden, Alvaro revealed he encountered no trouble at all striking up a partnership with the Belgian, and he said his new team-mate is one of the three best players in the world.
“It is easy for me playing with him [Hazard]” Morata said.
Up next, Chelsea will be playing Manchester City this weekend for their next premier league game, and Morata is expected to partner with Hazard again at the front of City’s goal.
