Nabil Fekir

Two weeks and some days into the ongoing transfer window, many clubs have signed some interesting and world-class players but Liverpool are still seeking for their first signing of the year.

The Reds are linked with some high-profile players, however, none of them have confirmed their intentions to join the Reds this month.

Here is the rundown of Monday’s transfer news concerning Liverpool…

FEKIR IS OPEN TO LIVERPOOL’S SWITCH DESPITE SUMMER SETBACK

Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir is open to a move to the Reds in the future. The Frenchman reportedly had his medical with the Reds last summer, only for Klopp to pull out of the deal which is almost done and dusted.

The German manager claimed Fekir is prone to injuries and that may affect his performances should he eventually join his team.

Reports emanating from France via L’Equipe reports that Fekir wants to join the Anfield outfits but he’s not going to rush things like he did during the summer.

TIMO WERNER TO IGNORE LIVERPOOL AND BAYERN MUNICH’S OFFER

RB Leipzig’s forward Timo Werner is heavily linked with Liverpool’s switch but the Bundesliga club aren’t willing to release him this month.

The impressive striker is also a target for Bayern Munich as the Bavarians plan to make their team look more youthful and energetic than they were at the start of the campaign.

However, RB Leipzig’s manager Ralf Rangnick said the 22-year-old will remain at the club for at least two years.
