If there’s one thing synonymous with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, it’s the fact that he sees out his deals.
Bold statements
The French tactician has often backed his words up with actions and plans to repeat the same with his latest Arsenal contract.
The manager told beIN Sports that he tries to respect his Arsenal contracts no matter the situation. In doing that, the former Monaco boss would be at the North London club until the summer of 2019 at the least.
Familiar comments
The speech is a familiar one to Gunners fans, as the manager has often disclosed it in defence of his coaching spell of the club.
He said this earlier this campaign at the club’s Annual General Meeting, during the manager’s annual speech, the tactician spoke about his new contract, which he signed in May, by saying intends to remain at the club until the end of the contract.
With the way this current Arsenal season has gone, there are few supporters who want the manager to remain at the club until 2019.
Fans want Wenger out
Many fans are hoping to see the side push Arsene Wenger out if he refuses to leave the role himself. Still, this campaign might not be a barren one for the manager.
They have the chance to win the League Cup when they take on Manchester City this month as well as the UEFA Europa League with a foot already in the next round of the continental club competition.
A cup double for Arsenal would be unexpected, but should it happen, it might do enough to keep Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium for that final season of his deal.
