Senegalese youngster Krepin Diatta has been heavily linked with a move away from his Norwegian club Sarpsborg in recent weeks, and there are speculations that premier league giants Manchester United are trying to bring him over to Old Trafford.
However, in a new development, his reps have come out to make an attempt to cool the situation.
Though Diatta signed a new deal with his Norwegian club back in February, the talented midfielder has made it known that he has the ‘dreams’ to move to Manchester United, and the club themselves are showing serious interest in his signature.
His agent revealed that the player has held discussions with the red devils back in July, but Krepin’s entourage has now suggested that a huge move to the English top flight is not currently in sight.
Speaking to FootMercato, the party said the 18-year-old’s objective right now is to play regularly and that he isn’t yet ripe to play for top European clubs. According to them, the youngster will need to go through the steps methodically.
A few weeks back, Krepin himself, when interviewed by TV2, confessed that a move to Old Trafford to play with Jose Mourinho will be a ‘dream’.
He also added that he is happy playing at his current side, but, according to him, ‘we will see what happens in the future.’
