French international midfielder N’Golo Kante has made a decision on the reported interest from Manchester United by indicating readiness to sign a new contract with his club.
The 27-year-old has grown to become a key player for Chelsea since he joined the club from Leicester City in the summer of 2016 for a reported transfer fee of around £30m.
He had surprisingly played a big role for the Foxes in their Premier League title triumph before moving to Stamford Bridge.
Kante won the league title in his first season at the club before following it up with the 2018 FA Cup title at the end of his second season with Chelsea via a 1-0 victory over rivals Manchester United in their final meeting at the Wembley Stadium in May.
He has been attracting interest from Manchester United but the France World Cup winner has decided to stay at Chelsea and he’s on the verge of penning a new deal that will secure his long-term future with the Blues.
N’Golo Kante was recently part of the France squad that won this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
Apart from Manchester United, the former Caen player has also been attracting interest from French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
