This Man United defender is preparing his goodbye note

Matteo Darmian

Manchester United could be set to parting ways with their star defender Matteo Darmain ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming days.

Matteo Dramain has been out of favour at the Old Trafford especially under former manager Jose Mourinho and that has gotten him frustrated that he wants to leave.

The star defender is reported to be expecting bids from suitors who can promise him regular playing time with the likes of Fulham, Lazio, Roma and Inter Milan all keen to have his signature.

So far this season, Matteo Darmain has only seen four games across all competitions and this is the worst he has had since joining the Old Trafford from Torino in 2015 for a fee of £17 million.

Although, Matteo Dramain has got his contract running with United until 2019 with a release clause of about £20 million but suggestions are that he will not see out his years at the club.

However, suggestions are that new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will accept any good offer for the player having known that he has his mind made up on leaving.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are keen on qualification to the Champions League next season by finishing in top four of the league table with the best players.
