According to Don Balon, Premier League giants Manchester United could allegedly be in the running to complete the transfer of PSG superstar Neymar Jr. ahead of reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid.
Highly sought after forward
The Brazil international forward, who only joined Paris Saint Germain last summer window in as a world transfer record move of £200million, is supposedly an ambitious transfer target for the Red Devils this summer.
The former Barcelona man has shone at the French Capital club, after a superb spell in the La Liga with the Catalan giants where he established himself as one of the best footballers in the World, though the exciting forward had often been overshadowed by Lionel Messi at the Spanish side.
Everyone’s delight
Having performed well in France, it looks like Europe’s top clubs remain interested in Neymar and Don Balon claim a departure could be close if the 26-year-old attacker cannot win the UEFA Champions League with PSG.
The Spanish publication also claims that the player’s father has told Real Madrid that Manchester United’s sponsors Chevrolet are willing to do anything possible to land his son in what could be a top marketing coup for the side.
The car company Chevrolet is said to be ready to break the Asian market and feel the Brazilian could be the kind of player to help them achieve it, as per Don Balon.
