Paris Saint Germain star player Marco Verratti has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for premier league heavyweights Manchester United.
There are new reports coming from Italy that the red devils could agree to a new deal with the French club for the player’s signature this summer transfer window.
Some days back, it was made known that the player was not happy with the outcome of a meeting he had with the club’s new boss Thomas Tuchel.
The ‘perfectionist’ tactician had asked him to lose weight before the start of the next season, and his agent – Mino Raiola – has discussed with the red devils over a potential move.
Mino has reportedly held talks with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus also – but it appears none of them are in need of the player. And according to Calciomercato, Jose Mourinho’s side are currently ‘evaluating’.
Man United signed Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk as a replacement for Michael Carrick who retired at the end of last season.
With Marouane Fellaini set to dump Old Trafford, Mourinho is ready to sign a second midfielder to replace the Belgian international.
Marco is a proven player who will definitely add lots of quality to Mourinho’s team. He is a talented player who is able to create chances easily, and he dribbles opponents with ease.
