Mauroune Fellaini is back at Manchester United‘s training ground as his side prepare to clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday for their next premier league business.
Fellaini has been sidelined for nearly a month after picking an injury on his knee while playing for his national side some weeks back.
The Belgium international was in superb form before sustaining the unfortunate injury and has already scored four goals this season for Man United.
Two of his fellow midfielders at Old Trafford – Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick, are also injured, leaving manager Mourinho with just Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic.
Jose is not yet certain if Fellaini will come back in time for the game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but the player was working hard at the club’s Carrington complex on Thursday.
Fellaini uploaded a photo onto his Instagram story that showed he was back in town and in the club’s gym at their training ground on Thursday.
Although Mourinho will have love to feature Marouane in the game against Chelsea, the Portuguese tactician is likely to rest the Belgian and not risk him. Additionally, after the Chelsea game, there will be a 13-day international break before Man United’s next game, and Fellaini should be fully fit by then.
