According to Spanish media reports, Manchester United are considering a bid to land Real Mallorca’s Joan Sastre.
Man United closely monitoring Sastre
Spanish publication Sport, as cited by Football.London, is claiming that the Red devils are one of some clubs who are closely monitoring Joan Sastre ahead of a likely summer transfer.
The same report states that Spanish La Liga trio Sevilla, Barcelona, and Real Madrid are all keeping close tabs on the right-back after his impressive display for the Spanish side in the promotion attempt.
As per the same report, Hamburg and Borussia Monchengladbach have also shown interest in the full-back in the summer window.
Joan Sastre was promoted to Real Mallorca senior team for the recently concluded season and the 21-year-old helped the La Liga side seal a return to the topflight.
Reinforcement ongoing at Old Trafford
Man United have already brought in full-back Diogo Dalot in a £17million transfer deal from Portuguese side Porto in the summer window.
The Red Devils ended the Premier League season in second spot last campaign to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
The former Premier League Champions lost 1-0 to 2017 English topflight League champions Chelsea last season in the Emirates FA Cup final after playmaker Eden Hazard’s winning goal from the spot.
