Man United Handed Big Injury Boost Ahead Of Chelsea Clash

Manchester United have been boosted with the news that midfielder Marouane Fellaini will be fit for the all-important Premier League clash with rivals Chelsea.

The Blues will host Manchester United in a Premier League Matchday 9 clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and Belgian international midfielder Fellaini will be fit to take his place in the matchday squad.

His availability for the game was confirmed by the Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and his players can’t afford to lose further grounds in the Premier League title race against in-form Chelsea following their average start to the new season.

The Red Devils are languishing in eighth spot after four victories, one draw and three losses from the first eight league games of the season.

Manchester United are seven points adrift of league leaders and fierce rivals Manchester City in the race for the title in addition to being five points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal as the race for next season’s Champions League.

Jose Mourinho’s job as Manchester United manager was reportedly on the line before the last league game against Newcastle United and a 3-2 comeback win was enough to ease the pressure on the Portuguese tactician.
