It appears Lazio star player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic would find himself playing at Old Trafford next season.
According to new reports, the red devils believes they are closing in on a deal for the talented youngster.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to take advantage of the upcoming summer transfer window to reinforce his midfield department. His side is poised to lose the duo of Michael Carrick (going into retirement) and Marouane Fellaini (likely to leave on a free transfer) at the end of this season.
The red devils have reportedly been keeping tabs on the Lazio midfielder this season and they are convinced he can flourish at Old Trafford with the likes of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba under manager Jose Mourinho.
Apart from Milinkovic-Savic, another midfielder on United’s list is Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos. However, since Toni is keen on staying put at Madrid, Mourinho’s side are with no other option but to pursue Sergej’s signature dedicatedly.
It was made known that they believe they are getting closer to completing a deal for the Serbian midfielder, and the Independent are insisting that even his club have resigned to him joining Manchester United.
It was also added that the red devils could cough out some whopping £90 Million just to get his signature this summer.
