Lucas Sebastián snub club offer & agrees to Arsenal switch
Premier League side Arsenal have been impressively active, to the delight of their fans, in the current transfer window and in the last few days, the North London club have been busy in completing deals for new players.
Busy summer at the Emirates
Unai Emery’s side officially announced the summer acquisition of Uruguay international defensive midfielder Lucas Sebastián Torreira and 19-year-old, French starlet Mattéo Guendouzi in the last few days and after the pair, a young attacker has joined the Premier League side.
Yesterday, English side Sunderland formally confirmed that Sam Greenwood has signed for the north Londoners.
The League one side have stated that the 16-year-old turned down the scholarship offer the club tabled, as he expressed his intention to join the Premier League side and then completed his move.
Highly rated forward
The teenager is a natural center forward, however, he can also play from the flanks and also as a supporting striker if required.
Last term, the teenage sensation started 13 matches in the Under-18 Premier League for The Black Cats and contributed directly in 12 goals, including 6 goals and 6 assists as per Transfermarkt.
The highly rated wonder-kid also confirmed his transfer to the Emirates Stadium on his personal Instagram account.
