Liverpool: We Will Sell Coutinho To Barcelona On One Condition

Philippe Coutinho’s future at Liverpool is still uncertain and the player has been constantly in the news.

The latest being said about him now (via Diario Gol) is that the reds could agree to sell him to the Catalan giants only if they are willing to send Ivan Rakitic to the opposite direction.

It was said that Liverpool will receive a fee of £100 Million for the Samba star, and will want Barcelona to include Rakitic in the deal.

The report added that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of the Croatian midfielder and believes the player can help add more quality to his midfield department if he should make the move to Anfield.

Even though the 29-year-old is getting to the final phase of his career, the truth remains that he is highly experienced, and was even once linked with Jose Mourinho’s Man Utd earlier this summer.

The talented player is an important member of the Barcelona team following his impressive performances at Camp Nou since he arrived from Sevilla. He is good with passing the ball and can shoot at goal from a distance.

However, if Barcelona should pay £100M to Liverpool, it is very unlikely that they will include a superb player like Rakitic in the deal.
